Experience in other forms of media is essential to producing a holistic creative vision.

Though a majority of my experience is in photography and writing, I have experience in video production, podcasting, and music composition, all used to assist both myself and others in their creative endeavors.

Thanks to a well-rounded passion for media production, I have a network with other creatives to collaborate with, so that we may execute your vision to the fullest.

Style & Direction: A Menswear Podcast Without the Stuffiness

Style & Direction is the companion podcast to my blog. Co-hosted along with my friend Spencer, the podcast discusses a variety of topics in menswear, ranging from sneakers and collecting vintage milsurp, to film reviews and how left-wing politics intersect with clothing. Each episode has detailed show notes and essays that follow along the topics.

It’s been successful in it’s niche and has even lead to the development of a Patreon and Discord commuity, both of which I manage the marketing for.

You can find it on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud and most major podcasting platforms. We also stream bi-weekly on Twitch and upload the highlights to YouTube.

Theme music is by me and the podcast is produced with the help of MJ Kintanar and Matthew Beecher.

“A Guide To Vintage Menswear"

I was asked to make a presentation on vintage menswear for the 2017 Fall Dapper Day Expo. The lecture was given to about 30 people and covered topics from how to differentiate eras, what you can and can’t get tailored, and ways to incorporate vintage style into a contemporary context.

The lecture was later produced into a video in collaboration with Jon Hwang, a commercial & documentary filmmaker.

Nothing Grows Here - Original Score

I was approached by Jon Hwang to compose the score to his short film, Nothing Grows Here, a post-apocalyptic set drama piece. Like most of my scores, this one features heavy use of leitmotifs, from the short chime theme for the idealistic Sky, the longing strings for Aydin, and the hauntingly optimistic melody for Sophia. You can hear the themes mingle together throughout the film, but their best presentation is in the track “The World and Sophia”.

The Chocolate Shop - Original Score

My score for Ian Walker’s unreleased film is one of my favorites, since it allowed me to write an old school romantic theme. Unlike the previous film, this one took a broader approach, utilizing the sounds of a full orchestra. The two themes include the Love Theme and a Memory theme, which twist and turn as the film progresses.
